A promising talent from New Zealand, Matt Henry is a right-arm fast medium bowler who plays domestic cricket for Canterbury. Henry bowls quick and fast on a consistent basis and if he keeps going at this young age, can count him as an important asset to New Zealand's future in pace bowling. He would have been in contention for a national call-up in 2012 but due to a back surgery, he couldn't make the cut. Eventually, Henry did make a chance to come out on the international stage when he made his debut in an ODI against India on 31st January, 2014.
