Prasidh Krishna is an Indian international cricketer who was born on 19th February 1996 in Bangalore. He is a right-arm fast bowler who regularly clocks in excess of 140 kph and is known for his accurate bowling.

Prasidh Krishna firs made his mark when Bangladesh's A team toured India, and he picked up 5 for 49 in the first match, which was also his first-class debut for Karnataka. Krishna made his List-A debut during the 2016-17 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy and his T20 debut for Karnataka during the 2017-18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He went on to become Karnataka’s leading wicket-taker during the 2017-18 Vijay Hazare Trophy, scalping 17 wickets in just 8 matches.

When Kamlesh Nagarkoti, a young pace bowler, got injured in the 2018 season, the Kolkata franchise bought Prasidh Krishna as his replacement for the Indian T20 League. He made his debut in the tournament on 6th May 2018 against Mumbai, when another young pacer Shivam Mavi also got injured. Soon Krishna became the mainstay of the Kolkata franchise and represented them regularly in the Indian T20 League. He was also a part of the Kolkata franchise that finished as runner-up in the 2021 edition.

Krishna was included in the ODI series against England in March 2021, and made his debut on 23rd March 2021. He picked up four wickets for 54 runs to break a 24-year-old record for the most wickets taken on ODI debut by an Indian pacer.
