We are just a few minutes away from take-off in the 2023 Cricket World Cup but first, the two sets of players will line up for their respective national anthems. Informs that Ben Stokes misses out due to a hip niggle. Ends by saying that Gus Atkinson, David Willey, and Reece Topley are the others missing out.

New Zealand skipper, Tom Latham says they will bowl first as it looks a good surface but might get better later on. Adds that the guys have been in different parts of the world and came together a week back and are pumped up. Adds that the series against England in the past month is a big plus as they know what to expect. On Kane Williamson, he says that unfortunately he misses out and hopefully, he will be fit for future games. Also informs that the likes of Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi and Lockie Ferguson all miss out as well.
